Talk about “transformative art!” We recently discovered the very clever and thought-provoking artwork of Victor Nunes, retired art director turned innovative pop artist. Nunes is from Brazil and has become somewhat of a Facebook sensation as that’s really the only place you can see his ongoing work.
Nunes combines his drawings with a myriad of everyday objects to transform them into something else. You may even think your mind is playing tricks on you when you look at his final compositions. As an artist, he creates a different reality and makes us reformulate how we categorize and use the commonplace things we see and use without even thinking about them.
