The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is coming to New York…to the Mets Citi Field, to be precise. The game will be held on Tuesday, July 16th and as he has for nine previous All-Star Games, Charles Fazzino has created a spectacular collection of All-Star Game artwork including poster prints, fine art limited editions, original paintings and hand-painted equipment. The artwork was unveiled on the field at Citi Field earlier this month by Mets greats John Franco and Mookie Wilson
The collection will be on display at an exhibit inside the T-Mobile All-Star Fanfest, the largest baseball fan event in the world. Fanfest runs from July 12th-16th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center and is a big part of MLB’s All-Star Summer celebration. In addition, Charles Fazzino will spend part of each day at Fanfest painting an original 3D baseball mural live on-site at the Hometown Heroes Exhibit Presented by Duane Read. The resulting original work will be auctioned through AuctionCause.com to benefit Stand Up To Cancer, a ground-breaking initiative created to accelerate innovative cancer research.
