We love it when we find a young, budding artist with ambition and talent. Introducing Kane Lee Peterson. He’s a 9th grade student at New Rochelle High School and we met his very proud mom during ArtsFest last year. Kane has evidently has been painting and drawing since he was 3 years old. In fact, when he was still in daycare, he created an almost perfect replica of a Picasso painting with water colors. As his mom says, “he has been wowing us ever since.”
Kane Spends most of his time sketching, making portraits for others, designing things, or helping others with their art work. And on top of that, he’s an all-around excellent student in all of his subjects. He enjoys teaching others and loves art, photography and clothing design.
And once we saw some images of his work, we were WOWED too. What a talent. Still developing his own artistic voice, Kane shows a style beyond his years. His portraits capture a lot of emotion and that’s not easy to do. He gravitates towards bright colors and shows a great sense of both color and design…perfect for a fashion designer. Can’t wait to see what Kane ends up doing with his wonderful talent. Nice work!!
