Charles Fazzino is looking forward to making his first trip to Singapore at the end of May. He has been invited by Bruno Gallery Singapore to open his new show titled “The Colors of Singapore: A 3D Artwork Exhibition.” The solo exhibition, held at Bruno Gallery – Tanglin Place – from May 27th through June 14th, will feature Fazzino’s most iconic works on major cities and places such as New York, London, and Paris. In addition, some of the more whimsical subjects that Fazzino is also known for will be on display.
Singapore’s 50th Anniversary Artwork
To celebrate the nation’s jubilee year, the exhibition will also showcase a specially-created artwork – CELEBRATING THE ENCHANTED ISLAND OF SINGAPORE. This piece, exclusively commissioned by, and available at Bruno Gallery, captures all the major iconic symbols and landmarks that have made Singapore famous worldwide including the Merlion, Singapore Zoo, and Marina Bay Sands. Fazzino will be in Singapore for the very first time to unveil his homage to the city of Singapore as a tribute to the nation’s 50th Anniversary.
Ms. Aleksandra Lis, General Manager of Bruno Gallery Singapore, said “We are very glad to be able to curate such an extensive range of artworks from Fazzino. His works are already very popular with art collectors worldwide and we are very excited to be able to welcome him to Singapore to present the special Singapore piece to collectors here.”
Charles Fazzino also commented on his upcoming trip. “I’m so honored to have been asked by Bruno Art Gallery to create this significant artwork. Singapore is such a unique and magical place and I am so looking forward to seeing it for the first time. It’s been on my bucket list for years and I’m hoping that in between all of the scheduled appearances I will be making that I will also have some time to get out and see the sights. I want to meet the people and experience the culture. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
