Fazzino debuts at London’s Searcy’s Club at the Gherkin

We are proud to announce that GX Gallery, in cooperation with Galerie Artima, is holding a exibition of Charles Fazzino’s artwork at the Searcy’s Club at the Gherkin in downtown London. Searcy’s is one of the most exclusive private clubs in all of London, located at the top of one of the cities most famous buildings. Eighteen of the artist’s limited edition works, including “Touch Down in London Town” and “Getting Cheeky on the Queue in London’s West End” will be on display from May 11 through August 1.  Searcy’s is a private-member club, so the exhibition is not open to the public. However, it is possible to organize a private viewing by contacting Rod Murray at GX Gallery.

“I’m thrilled to have my work exhibited in one of the most prestigious and unique venues in London,” said Charles Fazzino. And what a backdrop for my collection! The view is incredible and London is one of my favorite cities. To be respected in London and to have my work shown is a career highlight. I’m grateful to GX Gallery and Galerie Artima for organizing this great event. I hope everyone has the chance to see it while it’s up.”

The Gherkin, also known as 30 St Mary Axe, is one of the most distinctive buildings in all of London. Built in 2003 by famed British architect Norman Foster, it’s currently a commercial building in the cities financial district.  With 360 degree views, it houses such high profile companies as Baltic Exchange, Deutsche Bank, Standard Life, and Kirkland & Ellis.
