For 25 years, Fazzino has been the artist-in-residence for the Super Bowl, bringing his signature 3D pop art to the biggest game of the year! He met with Rob Krieger on Fox 8 New Orleans to discuss his art that literally pops off the surface—from hand-painted helmets commissioned by the NFL to limited-edition prints, mini prints, and posters capturing the excitement of the game. During Super Bowl week in New Orleans, Fazzino’s events included a meet-and-greet at the NFL Experience and a special gallery opening at Rinard Gallery in the French Quarter. As Krieger put it, “His art has New Orleans running through its blood”—the city’s colors and unique culture are a perfect match for his vibrant style.
