Johanna Gomez met with Charles Fazzino on the Business Traveler show to discuss his Super Bowl LIX collection and the evolution of his artwork. He shares how his love for pop-up books inspired his signature 3D style and explains the intricate, labor-intensive process behind each piece. Every artwork is hand-drawn, printed, cut, and assembled, making each one a true work of craftsmanship.
Fazzino dives into the months-long process of creating his Super Bowl artwork, from early sketches to ensuring geographical accuracy and capturing the essence of the host city. He also reflects on some of his “pinch me” moments, having had his work collected by celebrities and displayed in over 35 countries and on 50 cruise ships. As an artist who travels the world for exhibitions and major events, Fazzino is a business traveler himself. After the Super Bowl, he will be involved in the MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta and is currently working on a project for the 2026 commemoration of the United States.
Beyond his artwork, Fazzino has a deep passion for giving back. He has worked with schools and organizations, using art as a powerful tool to raise funds for causes like the 9/11 Museum, the Holocaust Museum, and relief efforts for the terrorist attacks in Paris.
Stay tuned until the end to hear Fazzino’s top travel tip.
