Fazzino Arts Education Initiative

Building a career as an artist is no easy task. After decades of learning and honing his craft, Charles Fazzino became one of the most renowned pop artists today. However, his education in the arts from childhood throughout college was a critical factor in his path to success.

Art programs in school districts nationwide succumb to budget cuts that reduce the availability of art supplies and programming for students. Being a professional artist often gets downplayed as a practical career path, which is why art programs in public schools get budget cuts so frequently. While it’s true that few could achieve a successful art career like Fazzino, art education creates more value than initiating a career path for the youth. It has been proven that art education helps children develop motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness; skills transferable to multiple work fields.

Aware of schools’ challenges in keeping the arts active and relevant, Charles Fazzino created the Fazzino Arts Education Initiative to share his professional experiences with the youth in those schools. Through his initiative, Fazzino engages with students and educators nationwide and internationally to host interactive art workshops, Q&As, and other activities that allow students of all backgrounds to learn more about the professional art world.

Since 2012, the Fazzino Arts Education Initiative has continued its mission to work with schools and educational organizations around the globe to provide memorable artistic experiences to young students. Any art educators looking for new ways their students can engage in the art world are encouraged to contact Fazzino’s team by emailing info@fazzinocollectors.com. Let’s work together to keep the arts alive for our youth!
