Commemorating 100 Years of the NY Giants
Established in 1925, the NY Giants have won 8 NFL championships, four of which were Super Bowls. This year the legendary NY football franchise is playing its 100th season! In celebration of this milestone, Fazzino created a new 3D limited edition artwork commemorating the history of the team – “Celebrating 100 Years of the NY Giants”. The artwork features the current and former Giants stadiums along with newspaper clippings based on real headlines and photographs that document the football teams most iconic games, plays, and victories.

About Children of the City
Children of the City originated in New York City as volunteer-based grassroots efforts launched to address socioeconomic challenges in NYC. It was started during the height of NYC crime rates in 1982 by a low-income, 25-year old Brooklyn resident of immigrant descent named Joyce A. Mattera.
Joyce organized friends and neighbors to provide volunteer-based community outreach services, which included mentoring at-risk youth, protecting domestic abuse victims, and intervening gang violence and recruitment. The results were overwhelmingly positive. Thriving ecosystems and community aid networks developed, neighborhood safety and household living conditions improved, and generational poverty cycles converted into wealth building.
With strategic support from national organizations, subject-matter experts, and local community leaders, Children of the City institutionalized programs to improve the long-term well-being of disadvantaged households in NYC, while plugging immediate resource gaps along the way.
It’s programs continue to evolve as the community needs shift over time. Children of the city currently runs four core programs focused on improving access to real resources, education and development, health and financial wellness for low-income households.
