Charles Fazzino has been commissioned by The Van Wyck Gazette to create the artwork for the Summer 2015 issue, on newsstands now. The Gazette is a local community news magazine that caters to Upstate, NY and and features the local arts and culture inherent to Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange Counties. “I was thrilled when the Gazette asked me for some cover art,” said Charles Fazzino. Not only is the Gazette a great cultural resource for the local community, it also covers the area where I spent many a summer growing up…New Paltz, NY. This is one of the most beautiful areas of our country and often doesn’t get the credit it deserves because of its proximity to New York City. But it’s an area full of rich history, amazing nature, and lively culture. I’m glad to be a part of that.”
