The Food Emporium is proud to introduce the “Fazzino’s Fabulous NY Apple,” limited edition reusable shopping bag designed by renowned 3-D Pop Artist Charles Fazzino. Available exclusively in the New York Tri-State Area at The Food Emporium stores in Manhattan, a portion of the proceeds from sales of this unique new tote will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) to help support the fight against neuromuscular diseases. To celebrate Fazzino’s magnificent artwork, Ron Marshall, President & CEO of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company; Hans Heer, SVP of The Food Emporium; and the artist himself, Charles Fazzino, will be on-hand for the unveiling of the exquisite and vibrant “Fazzino’s Fabulous NY Apple” reusable bag, June 1 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at The Food Emporium store on 810 Eighth Ave. (49th St.). Shoppers will be treated to a special meet and greet with Charles Fazzino where they can get their special edition bag signed, and also participate in raffles giving away some of the artist’s original work. Mr. Fazzino will also be on hand, Wednesday, June 2nd, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the same Food Emporium location on 810 Eighth Ave (49th St.).
