We are once again participating in the City of New Rochelle’s Council on the Arts annual ArtsFest, a weekend long festival highlighting the best the area has to offer. Since we think that Charles Fazzino’s studio is certainly one of the VERY BEST things in New Rochelle, we’re opening our doors to the public!
A Look at Everything ArtsFest Has to Offer:
This year, the city will come alive with art exhibits, live music, great food, incredible performances, shopping, and tours of artists’ studios throughout the downtown area for an entire week! Everyday there will be something different to enjoy.
September 22nd through 25th AND September 29th through October 2nd will be RESTAURANT WEEKS in New Rochelle. Thirteen downtown restaurants will offer special three-course menus for $26. Many will also partner with area artists to create one-of-a-kind exhibitions
Saturday, September 27th – Signature ARTSFEST DAY! Hop on the free trolley as it takes you throughout historic downtown New Rochelle sites from 10am to 2pm. Visit Charles Fazzino’s art studio and the studios of other local artists for behind the scenes tours. Visit the BID Downtown Grand Market, and take part in the 3rd annual Lincoln Avenue Arts & Culture Fest.
Sunday, September 28th – More behind-the-scenes artist studio tours and a FREE ArtsFest Concert by the Villalobos Brothers on the Library Green at 4pm.
Throughout the weekend you will also be able to take a walking tour of the Fleur-de-Lis sculpture exhibit. The exhibit is being presented by New Rochelle Council on the Arts, the Business Improvement District and the city of New Rochelle to continue the celebration of the city’s 325th Anniversary.
Four Scheduled Fazzino Studio Tours for ArtsFest:
At each event, you’ll see the behind-the-scenes workings of Charles Fazzino’s personal art studio, have the opportunity to spend time with Charles, and see a wonderful collection of new and unique 3-D works
- Friday, September 26th from 6pm – 9pm: Private Fazzino Collectors Club Reception – Invitations to be mailed and emailed in September
- Saturday, September 27th from 12pm – 5pm
Open to the Public for New Rochelle ArtsFest
- Sunday, September 28th from 12pm – 5pm
Open to the Public for New Rochelle ArtsFest
- Tuesday, September 30th from 6pm – 9pm
2nd Annual EXPRESSIONS Art Exhibit and VIP Reception Benefiting CHOICE of NY – This event requires reservations and the purchase of a $150 ticket.
Ticket price will be refunded to you in the form of a discount off any Charles Fazzino fine artwork purchased that evening. A portion of the proceeds from all sales from this tour will be donated to CHOICE.
